Lisa Ross Parker Foundation Announces grant to Vanderbilt Medical Center myleosuppression unit
We are thrilled to announce a grant to Vanderbilt Medical Center to purchase 18 more Safe IV poles for the myleosuppression unit for patients with blood-related cancers, These will enable patients to be more mobile while they are in the hospital which is so important to their healing. They are also much safer with covered domes which eliminate tripping and will also prevent tubes from entangling on the wheels. We purchased 15 last summer for the floor but with the purchase of 18 more , EVERY patient on the floor will have one to use. Pictured below, posing with the Safe IV poles, are some of the incredible people that work on the unit and take such good care of the patients. Thanks to all that support the Lisa Ross Parker Foundation! It allows us to continue the mission and support these patients and their families!
